In one of my previous posts, I referred to the coronavirus now ravaging the world as the Wuhan virus. This was in error. My apologies.
Been a while since I blogged. Got to get into the habit of doing it more often. Working from home as many are. Kind of stalled. As many are. Been thinking a lot about the role artists play in a time like this. Do they inspire? Give hope? And how do abstract works do that? Lately my Instagram posts have been small little puzzles to solve. Find the pattern. That sort of thing.
I've been playing around with Wolfram's simple cell automata programs, again. This time running the program that generates shapes through the one that generates pixels. This is one result. The thumbnail doesn't really do it justice as the areas that look like fine lines are really quite intricate. I may try to find a more pleasing color scheme as well.
