Turning 56

On turning 56.

Turning 56, I’m reminded that even though I may be closer to the end than the start, I’m still closer to zero than infinity, still closer to nothing than everything.

And here, Tao inspired, is my perspective regarding infinity and everything:

The truth that can be written is not the eternal truth.

The truth that can be drawn is not the eternal truth.

The unwritten is what is eternally real.

The undrawn is what is eternally real.

The unwitting soul sees what is hidden

And the ever wanting soul sees only what it wants.

Those who blog do not know, those who know do not blog?

Those who draw do not know and those who know do not draw?

And yet, I blog, I draw. I even code. Why? 

It helps empty my overly busy mind and calm my heart. I think Bob Ross and the art therapists of the word are on to something…..
